Josh P is a professional bassist with a wealth of touring, teaching and experience under his belt. He believes in not only giving students the essential building blocks for their own playing but also nurturing and cultivating each persons individual strengths and unique styles on the instrument. Having received his degree in Music from the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA.) Not only can Josh cover whatever technical and theoretical aspects the students might be looking to delve into, he can also help them when it comes to the fundamentals of what is required of a professional bassist. With years of experience in an extensive range of genres ranging from rock to pop, blues to prog and funk to metal he can cover anything that his students have a passion for. Whether a student wants to learn their favourite songs, increase their ability in finger style, pick playing or slap. Or delve into understanding how to make their own unique sound on the instrument through experimenting with effects pedals, EQ and more experimental techniques, Josh can cover it all!
